WESTON, Conn. -- The Weston U12 Boys Blue team went undefeated to win their age bracket in the 30th Annual Newtown Kickoff Memorial Day Tournament.
Winning all of their games during the weekend, the boys completed their final match with a 2-0 victory Sunday afternoon against Bethel.
This team also has reached the quarterfinals of the Connecticut Cup soccer tournament and will play Saturday in Weston against New Milford. Game time is 3 p.m. at Morehouse Farm Park. Weston defeated Manchester, 4-2, and Avon, 3-1, in its two previous Connecticut Cup games.
