Weston Racquet Club Pro Meets Boy Scouts

WESTON, Conn. – Weston Racquet Club’s Director of Tennis Angelo Rossetti spent an evening with Weston Troop 788, leading a discussion about setting and achieving goals.

The Boy Scouts of America provides programs for young people that build character, and for more than a century the group has implemented programs combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun.

Rossetti is a Guinness Book World Record holder for the longest tennis rally with his twin brother, lasting 14 hours, 31 minutes and compiling 25,944 consecutive strokes. He gave an inspirational talk about the dedication, the determination and commitment, the training, the teamwork and mental toughness needed to reach one's goals. Nearly 30 boys and their parents attended the event.

Weston Racquet Club works with many youth groups in the community, inspiring and motivating children of all ages to challenge themselves, to try new things, to teach them about fitness and to encourage individuality.
