Weston Boys Lacrosse Beats Brookfield

WESTON, Conn. – Weston’s boys lacrosse team scored seven unanswered goals in the second period Tuesday en route to a 15-7 win over Brookfield in a South-West Conference game at Weston.

Sean Fumai scored four goals and dished out three assists for Weston (2-1). Matt Brooks had three goals and one assist, while Jack Scheufele had four goals and an assist.

Lyle Mitchell (two goals, one assist), Jesse Laico (two goals) and Eli Page (one assist) also supported Weston’s offense. Grant Limone stopped 13 shots. 

The game was tied at 2-2 after the first period before Weston broke it open with the big second period.

Weston visits Newtown on Thursday at 7 p.m.
