WESTON, Conn. The Weston fifth-grade Blue boys basketball team raced past Redding-Easton Black, 25-12, in the Fairfield County Basketball League.
Scott Lyon, Beck Reiferson, Lucas DiMartino and Andrew Chaglasian were the leading scorers for Weston, while Noah Haberman played well at point guard. Connor Morikawa, Daniel Lucas and Cade Lahn played great defense. Max Rapko and Greyson Collins sat out the game with injuries but lent support from the sidelines.
Weston looks to continue its winning ways when it meets Westport on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Weston Middle School.
