Weston 5th Graders Drop Tight Game to Brookfield

WESTON, Conn. – The Weston fifth-grade Blue boys basketball team played one of its best games Friday in a narrow 3-point loss to Brookfield. 

Lucas DiMartino, Andrew Chaglasian, Beck Reiferson and Connor Morikawa led Weston’s offensive attack against an aggressive Brookfield defense. Greyson Collins and Cade Lahn battled for rebounds, while Max Rapko, Scott Lyon and Noah Haberman played well in beating Brookfield’s press and setting up the offense.

Both teams play in the Fairfield County Basketball League.

Weston returns to the court Friday to meet Newtown at Weston Intermediate School.
