Two Weston Athletes Win Age Groups in Triathlon

WESTON, Conn. – Weston athletes were among the finishers in the Westport Kiwanis Triathlon Sunday at Compo Beach. Shane Meehan of New York won the overall race, while Stamford’s Megan Kelly paced the women’s field.

Jordan Berger of Weston won the Men's 15-19-year-old age group. Susan Nakas took top honors in the women's 55-59 age group. There were 255 finishers in the race, which consisted of a half-mile swim, a 5 ½-mile bike ride and a 2.2-mile run. Complete results are available online.
