Summer Series Holds 2nd Race

The second race in the Westport Road Runners Summer Series steps off Saturday at 8 a.m. at Longshore. The distance is 3.1 miles. Entry fee for Westport residents is $5 for a single race and $30 for the series. Non-residents can run for $8 for a single race and $50 for the series.

Registration at the race begins at 7:30 a.m. There are races every Saturday morning, and the distances get longer each week. The series concludes with a 10-mile race on Sept. 4.
