It hardly feels like football weather, but four former players from Staples HIgh will be in full gear for Friday's 14th annual Hall of Fame Football Classic at Ken Strong Stadium in West Haven. The game features graduated high school seniors from Fairfield County against players from New Haven. It kicks off at 7:30 p.m.
Staples players on the team include Matt Kelly, Santiago Cuertas, Connor Bohling and Jake Santora. They will try to help Fairfield County earn a rare win in the series. The New Haven All-Stars own a 9-4 advantage.
