St. Luke's boys put away Fairchester Athletic Association rival Greens Farms Academy in convincing fashion in the New England Championship tournament semifinals. The Storm went up 4-0 in the first quarter and never looked back in putting together a 13-2 win.
The Storm defense was much more suffocating than in had been just six days earlier in the teams' regular season matchup in which St. Luke's prevailed, 10-7.
Goalie Adam Connolly was barely tested in saving six of only eight GFA attempts. On the offensive end, the Storm got great decision-making from senior JD Ballard and a hat trick from senior attack Jack Henson.
As shown in the MSC FAA boys lacrosse Brackets grid, St. Luke's awaits the winner of the matchup between Berwick Academy of Maine and the Dexter School of Massachusetts for Saturday's New England championship game. The game will be played at 2pm at the Worcester Academy in Massachussetts.
Do you think St. Luke's can win the New England crown?
