For soccer players looking to reminisce about the glory days, Joel Barlow High School will hold its annual boys soccer alumni game Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Barlow Stadium. Alumni will take on the current varsity squad to see if those who have moved on still have their skills intact. While the varsity team came out on top last year, the alumni have won nine of the last 12 contests. Former head coach Jim Dolan, who retired in 2003 after 29 years, will coach the alumni team, while current varsity coach Paul Winstanley will helm his squad. This will be the 31st installment of the alumni game, which draws former players from all over the country and at times from as far back as squads from the 1970's.
