The Aspetuck Wildcats are a group of football and cheerleading teams in the Candlewood Valley Football and Cheerleading Conference. The program is open to kids in grades 3 to 8 in Weston, Easton and Redding.
The Aspetuck Wildcats strive to form a team that “Inspires youth (regardless of race, creed, color, or sex) to practice the ideals of sportsmanship, teamwork, physical fitness, and healthy competition and strive to be ‘the best that they can be,’” their website reads.
The 2013 season begins on Aug. 5. Registrations must be received by July 26 to avoid paying a late fee. For more information, visit the Aspetuck Wildcats’ website.
