There are just a few days left to get your child registered for t-ball and baseball instruction at the Easton Community Center. Both indoor classes start Thursday, April 28.
The t-ball classes teach beginners the basics, including base running, hitting and fielding. They focus on teamwork and sportsmanship. The class is recommended for beginners or kids looking to reinforce good fundamental skills. All players need to bring a glove.
The indoor baseball class is intended for children ready to hit pitched balls and learn more advanced fundamentals, like force-outs, tagging runners, batting, catching and throwing. Mini games will be played after the skill development sessions. Teamwork and good sportsmanship are stressed in this class. All players are reminded to bring a glove.
The t-ball class is for ages 4-6. It will run for five Thursdays in a row starting April 28 from 4 to 4:45 p.m. The baseball program is for ages 5-8 and also runs five Thursdays in a row starting April 28 from 5 to 6 p.m.
Both programs cost $70 for members, $90 for non-members. For more information, visit the Easton Community Center Website.
