The New Haven County All-Stars defeated Fairfield County, 16-13, in the Hall of Fame Classic Friday at Ken Strong Stadium in West Haven. The football game features graduated seniors from high schools in each county. New Haven won for the 10th time in 14 contests.
Greenwich quarterback Mike Lefflbine played the entire game for Fairfield County, and connected on a 7-yard pass with Christon Gill (Bridgeport Central) for a touchdown. Fairfield County's other touchdown came on a 1-yard-run by Pete Gallagher (Bethel).
