Lil' Kate & Campy faced off against what you might call its "parent team," Peter's Spirits, at a softball game at the Onion Barn Field Tuesday.
Participation in the Women's Adult Softball League has grown so much over the years that two more teams had to be added this year. There are now six teams and 120 women involved in the program.
Tami Campos of Lil' Kate & Campy said Peter's Spirits, who could once have been compared to the "Bad News Bears," is now one of the best teams in the league.
