Greens Farms Academy defeated Williams School of New London, 65-21, for its fifth straight victory Saturday in Westport.
Dan Chase scored 27 points and Sean Obi added 14 points and 11 rebounds for GFA, 7-3. It was the fifth straight game GFA held an opponent to a season-low point total.
The high-energy, tight-fisted defense was led by starter Dan Hoffman. Intense pressure by Hoffman, Kam Mickens, Chris Morency and Hunter Eggers smothered Williams' guards. The perimeter defenders were encouraged to attack because they knew that they had an outstanding back-line support in 6-foot, 9-inch Sean Obi, 6-foot, 6-inch Brien Comey and the athletic Will Pavlis and Wills Rooney.
Christian Papic added 10 for GFA, including two 3-pointers, while CJ Smith and Eric Walsh expertly directed the offense.
