FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. Girls lacrosse coaches across the Fairfield County have said repeatedly over the season that the conference championship means just as much if not more than the state championship. The best teams in the state reside in Fairfield County, and the girls are set to duke it out for the title beginning Friday.

No. 3 Greenwich (13-2, 8-2 conference) vs. No. 6 Ridgefield (11-4, 7-3 conference), 4:30 p.m.

Monday, May 21
