EASTON, Conn. Get the little Derek Jeters ready: The Easton Little League has announced registration dates for the 2012 season.
The Easton Little League is open to Easton boys and girls born between May 1, 1999, and April 30, 2008. T-ball is open to Easton 4-year-olds, and the Junior Division is open to residents born between May 1, 1997, and April 30, 1999.
Parents can register their children online or in person at Helen Keller Middle School, located at 360 Sport Hill Road, during the following times:
Saturday, Jan. 21, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Wednesday, Jan. 25, from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 28, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Registration is $100 for T-ball players before Feb. 13 and $125 after Feb. 13.
For majors, AAA, AA and rookie players, the cost will be $190 before Feb. 13 and $215 after. There is a family discount for parents registering more than one player. That cost would be $380 for anyone registering before Feb. 13 and $430 after.
For junior players, registration is $375 before Feb. 13, and $425 after. The family discount will be $750 for multiple players before Feb. 13 and $850 after.
All registration fees cover the cost of games, practices, uniforms, trophies and an end-of-the-season picnic.
The Easton Little League is offering Enhanced Player Development Sessions, which is included in the price of registration and open to all AA, rookie, AAA and major players.
