WESTPORT, Conn. Four players reached double figures as Greens Farms Academys boys basketball team defeated Chase Collegiate, 60-51, Monday in a non-conference game.
Tremont Waters, a seventh-grade student, scored 13 points in only 12 minutes to lead Greens Farms, which improved to 5-3. Hunter Eggers of Greenwich added 13 points with six rebounds and four assists, while Greenwichs Sean Obi added 12 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks. Patrick Ryan of Darien dropped in 10 points to go with four rebounds and an assist, while Greenwichs Matt Tate dished out five assists.
Brien Comey, Wills Rooney, Van Barnet, Kam Mickens, Scott Deutsch, Zack Baines and Will Pavlis all booked solid minutes and contributed to the win.
Greens Farms hosts King Thursday in a Fairchester Athletic Association game at 5:45.
