Aspetuck Cheerleaders Win 2 National Titles

Two Aspetuck Wildcats teams won national  championships at the American Youth Football and Cheerleading national championships Saturday in Orlando.

The Division 12 team won its third straight national championship.

The Wildcats Division 12 team includes: Caroline Terrell, Caitlin Dotson, Claudia Gombos, Allie Loder, Melanie Gold, Jacquie Goetz, Julia Skrtich, Rachel Garner, Alexa Resnick, Charlotte Abrams, Rita Gordon, Nikki Wallin, Emma Scavo, Kylie Longo, Alison Stauffer, Emma Nayden, Kelsey Cina, Bridgette Dight, Natalie Mullen, Angela Socci, Rachel Buddenhagen, Kerianne Rogers, Ally Stillman, Peyton Williams, Madison Liebow, Isabel Gautier and Julianne Licamele.

The Division 15 team includes Jordyn Witkins, Maddie Cammarota, Maegan Lutinski, Marty Maroun, Alyssa Babcock, Cassie Rosa, Amanda Preston, Victoria Romaniello, Anna Kennon Kingsmill, Aerin Reed, Juliet Meskers, Regina Socci, Bailey Skrtich, Sophie Wasmer, Paige MacPherson and Ciara Paolini. The team's student demonstrators include Stephanie Babcock, Kylie Wallin and Laura Ferullo.

The Aspetuck Wildcats football and cheerleading program incorporates children from Weston, Easton and Redding. With the addition of two more titles this past weekend, Aspetuck cheerleaders have won eight national titles since 2005.
