Weston Middle School Loses High-Speed Internet

WESTON, Conn. – Workers at the Weston wetlands remediation project behind Weston Middle School accidentally cut the school’s Internet line Monday night, and the school was without high-speed Internet access all day Tuesday.

“They cut buried underground wires and Internet service was down all day,” Superintendent of Schools Colleen Palmer said.

Work was being done Tuesday night to repair the line, she said. If it’s not repaired, there is a backup plan to install a wireless service so the school will have high-speed access Wednesday.
