Grayson Kane, Jonathan Katz, Preston Carter Joffe and Cameron Edgar, all students at Weston Middle School, performed in the Fairfield County String Festival at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury on March 26. Chloe Groth, the strings teacher at Weston Middle School, attended the festival with them.
Cameron Edgar and Grayson Kane both play the cello and Preston Carter Joffe and Jonathan Katz play the violin.
The Fairfield County String Festival is a country-wide festival for selected, highly qualified string players in grades 6 through 9. The students were chosen on the basis of written recommendations from their string teachers.
