Weston High School is the only Connecticut institution on the list.
Education research website Niche compiled information based on standardized test scores, the quality of college graduates attend, AP Class enrollment, graduation rates and state proficiency exams, Business Insider said.
Weston boasted a composite SAT score range of 1980 to 2010 and was praised for its partnership with the Teachers College of Columbia University on the Academic Innovation and Measurement (AIM) program, Business Insider reported.
The title of smartest public high school in the country went to Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Annandale, Va.
