Weston High School’s graduation is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. in a tent between Weston Intermediate School and Weston High. Graduates are asked to report to the gymnasium by 5 p.m. in proper attire with their caps and gowns.
“The Weston High School graduation ceremony honors graduates, their families, and their teachers. It serves to recognize the completion of 13 years of education and marks a significant milestone in the life of the graduate and his/her family,” the school’s administrators said in a letter to families. “As such, it has been and will remain a formal ceremony that, although joyous and celebratory, is serious in tone and nature.”
Dress requirements and more information for parents and seniors are available at the Weston High School website.
The school year for the rest of Weston Public Schools’ students will end Thursday. Students in all grade levels will have an early dismissal schedule Wednesday and Thursday.
