Weston Among Nation's Best High Schools In New Rankings

WESTON, Conn. -- Weston High School was ranked the 47th-best high school in the nation, according to Newsweek, in a story released this week.

Weston boasted a graduation rate of 100 percent with 97.2 percent of its graduates bound for college. The survey also said 87.3 percent of students were ready for college upon graduation. 

Weston was the highest rated school in Fairfield County. 

The top overall designation went to Thomas Jefferson High School in Virginia.

Other area schools to make the list included: Staples High School (No. 63) and Ridgefield High (No. 119).
