Parents concerned about bullying will have a chance to hear an expert discuss what can be done to prevent it Wednesday evening.
Clinical psychologist Dr. Joel Haber will speak at the Samuel Staples Elementary School cafetorium at 7 p.m. The two-hour presentation is part of the Easton PTA Parent Education Night.
Haber, the author of "Bullyproof Your Child for Life," has dedicated more that 20 years to the prevention of bullying behaviors in children and adults. He is invited by schools, camps, businesses and organizations and trains thousands of kids and adults each year on his bully-proofing techniques and strategies.
He is the official bullying consultant to the American Camp Association, providing online material, videos, training courses, and expertise to the camping world. He is also an expert for the LG Text Education Council, an advisory group assembled by LG Mobile Phones.
