"Twisted Tales" combines fairy tales such as "Cinderella" and "Rumpelstiltskin" in a dream world created by students at Helen Keller Middle School.
Mac Romianello, a student at Helen Keller, plays a boy who sets the idea of fairy tales into his sisters' minds just before bed. Robin Pantalena and Lea Michos are co-directors of the middle school play. The students have been rehearsing since November and will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, April 1, and Saturday April 2, at Joel Barlow High School.
A total of 60 students are in the cast and 20 are in the crew. This year, all performers with speaking parts will be equipped with a headset microphone.
Admission is $8 and $10. For more information, call Lea Michos at 203-372-3238 or Helen Keller Middle School at 203-268-8651.
