Easton Residents Asked to Go Bald For Cancer

EASTON, Conn. – Brave Easton residents are invited to join several Joel Barlow High School students and faculty on March 19 as they shave their heads for childhood cancer research.

The annual, worldwide St. Baldrick’s event invites everyone to shave their heads to show solidarity with children fighting cancer.

Students and faculty have set up donation pages on the St. Baldrick's website. Donations can be made in cash or check or by searching a participant's name in the search bar. According to the St. Baldricks site, Weston High School has raised $2,967 toward its $10,000 goal.

Some of the members of the community who have donations pages are as follows:

Joel Barlow High School students: Garret Palmer, Sam Torchio, Duncan Tennant, Liam Dotson, Marian LeLash, Edward Cadden-Maclean, Charlie Condosta, Tyler Mish

Joel Barlow High School teachers: TJ Roberts, Beth Therien, Scott Gang, Jon Matthews, Randy Light, Chris Angell, Brian Luzietti, Jacob Fricker, Timothy Huminski

The event will begin at 9 a.m. at the high school, located at 100 Black Rock Turnpike in Redding.
