Easton schools face an assortment of challenges this year. Drastic schedule changes, budget concerns and the search for two key leadership positions loom over officials and parents. Rising to the challenge is the Easton PTA, which meets Friday, Feb. 11, in Easton Public Library's community room at 9:15 a.m.
Dan Underberger, Board of Education chair, and other administrators will attend the meeting to discuss the challenges and potential solutions.
The PTA will also discuss school nutrition. Meg Whitbeck, a representative of Chartwells Food Service, will present "Healthy Eating on the Go" at 10:30 a.m.
Members are also set to discuss bullying in schools, fundraisers and community events. All residents are invited to participate in the meeting. For more information, contact Melinda O'Brien at 203-396-0373 or visit the group's website at www.EastonPTA.com.
