Don Imus Sells Westport House - At Last - For $14.4M

WESTPORT, Conn. - Broadcast personality Don Imus and his wife, Deirdre, have at last managed to sell their Westport spread, for a reported $14.4 million, CBS local reported Friday.

The original asking price was $30 million, back in 2009, and the house went off and back on the market a few times, according to Curbed.com. The price dropped to $24.5 million in 2011 and then down to $19.9 million last summer.   

The unnamed new owners' neighbors will include movie titan Harvey Weinstein, hedge fund manager Marc Lasry and recently convicted insider trader Rajat Gupta, according to Realestalker.

The 13-year-old home totals more than 10,000 square feet of space, including six bedrooms and a six-car carriage house garage, a two-bedroom guest house and 215 feet of private beach along Long Island Sound, according to Zillow.
