Report: Easton GOP Letter Takes Aim At Write-In Candidates

EASTON, Conn. -- Easton Republican Party leaders sent out a recent email touting their slate and criticizing write-in candidates Val and Derek Buckley after the couple's failed bid to be on the ballot as Easton Coalition candidates in this year's municipal election, according to a report on Patch.com.

The letter said the paperwork filed by the pair to form the Easton Coalition party was deemed insufficient by the Secretary of State, the article said.
