WESTPORT, Conn. — The Westport Representative Town Meeting, the town’s legislative body, is seeking candidates to fill a vacancy created last month by the resignation of former Moderator Hadley Rose.
The vacancy, as per the Town Charter, must be filled by a registered voter living in RTM District 3, a statement from current Moderator Eileen Flug said. The term expires in November. Because the RTM is nonpartisan, no party affiliation is needed.
Residents interested in being considered for the spot should send a resume to Town Clerk Patricia Strauss on or before April 17. Resumes can be sent via email to pstrauss@westportct.gov, or to the Town Clerk’s Office, Attention: Patricia Strauss, 110 Myrtle Ave., Westport, CT 06880.
