Officers were dispatched to a report of a disturbance between family members on Monday. When they arrived, they found 33-year-old Nancy Michel being detained by a relative, police said.
Police said that Michel had threatened to kill and attempted to assault a juvenile in the residence. A relative intervened and disarmed Michel after she armed herself with two kitchen knives, according to police.
Michael was charged with risk of injury to a minor, disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and threatening. She was held in lieu of a $10,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
