WESTPORT, Conn. – A 57-year-old Westport woman was charged with drunken driving Saturday after a car accident, police said.
Megan Demaria of Wassell Lane was involved in minor accident at Compo Road North and Main Street, police said. The responding officer smelled alcohol on Demaria’s breath and she failed field sobriety tests, according to the police report.
Demaria, who refused to submit to a breath test, was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor. She was released after posting bond.
