The victim told police that Carrie Owen, 45, had trespassed on her property on June 14, and had video footage that clearly showed Owen on the property, according to police.
Owen had previous incidents with the victim and was advised not to trespass on her property or face arrest, according to police. Based on the complaint and video evidence, a warrant was issued for her arrest.
On Thursday Owen was stopped by Westport Police for a motor vehicle violation and was taken into custody. She was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and bond was set at $500.
Owen had previously been arrested in June in connection with a series of trespassing incidents, including an occasion where she and another person shot arrows into a neighbor's property and another where she threw rocks over a fence, according to police.
She was also arrested last May when she and another person barricaded themselves in their home with a child, according to police.
