Westport Police Seek Help Finding Car Used In Burglary

WESTPORT, Conn. – Westport police are on the lookout for a blue Audi believed to have been used by the suspects of a recent Westport home burglary, police announced Friday afternoon.

Police described the vehicle as a bright blue, newer Audi, possibly an A4 model, with tinted windows and a loud muffler. The first three numbers on the license plate are possible 177, Capt. Sam Arciola said in a statement.

The burglary was reported Monday at a White Woods home. Police said a homeowner reported seeing a blue Audi, occupied by two men, leaving the private road as she returned home, Arciola said.

Items stolen from the home were recovered in another town that links the suspect vehicle to the Westport burglary, Arciola said.
