Jessica Sullivan, 40, of 259 Flax Hill Road, Norwalk, was charged with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny. Her bond was set at $10,000 and she was scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
Police said that a woman told police her vehicle was parked in the parking lot of Assumption Church at 11 Burr Road on Nov. 15 and items worth $125 were stolen from it. Four days later the woman read an article about Sullivan's arrest and went to police because the church parking lot is located close to the school parking lot.
Police said they were able to link the theft to the other thefts and on Monday they arrested Sullivan at her home.
