On Dec. 4, an officer using a speed radar clocked Luis Garcia-Perez, 30, of Preston Street, traveling 62 m.p.h. in a 40 m.p.h. zone, police said.
When he was pulled over, the officer found Garcia-Perez had no driver’s license or insurance and the car’s license plate belonged to another vehicle, police said.
He was charged with misuse of plates, speeding, insurance coverage fails to meet minimum requirements, operating a motor vehicle without a license and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
He was released after posting $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 14.
