During the early morning hours of July 16, 2015, a Sterling Drive resident's car was broken into and his wallet and credit cards were stolen, police said. The credit cards were later used in eight different locations, police said.
In one of the locations, a woman later identified as 41-year-old Dana Vincent of Hartford, made $196 in fraudulent purchases, according to police. At another location, she made more than $570 in fraudulent purchases, police said.
Vincent's two co-conspirators were identified as Tony Jackson and Anthony Harris. Jackson was arrested in December 2015 and Harris was arrested in May 2016.
Westport Police arrested Vincent on Tuesday, Sept. 26, while she was appearing at Norwalk Superior Court. She was charged with conspiracy and third-degree identity theft. She was held on $7,500 bond and arraigned the same day.
