Weston Police Top List Of Highest-Paid Employees

WESTON, Conn. -- Out of the 20 highest-paid Weston government employees, 14 are police officers, including Sgt. Patrick Daubert topping the list with a salary of $177,328, according to the Weston Forum.

Overall, 19 town employees made more than $100,000 last year, according to the Weston Forum. What makes police officer's pay higher is their overtime pay, step increases, shift differential pay, and "special duty" pay when they work outside projects, said the Weston Forum. 

According to the Weston Forum, other top earners included:

  • Town administrator Tom Landry at $151,079
  • Finance director Richard Darling at $129,058
  • Police Chief John Troxell at $117,020,
  • Police officers Robert Klein at $155,610 and Travis Arnette at $153,358.
