Weston Officials Agree To Buy Cruiser For School Officer

WESTON, Conn. -- Weston officials plan to spend up to $18,000 to buy a police cruiser for the department's school resource officer, according to the Weston Forum.

Weston police will get a new police cruiser that is specifically for the new school resource officer, the Weston Forum says.

Officials said the cruiser is black and white, and has lights and sirens. It will be marked with "school resource officer," the Weston Forum says.

Meanwhile, officials are busy selecting a school resource officer from a narrowed-down field of three Weston patrol officers, the Weston Forum reports.
