EASTON, Conn. - An Easton 3-year-old was rescued from near-drowning Thursday, the police reported.
Police said they received a 911 call of a child unconscious and not breathing. When they arrived at the North Park Avenue residence they found the child breathing on her own with some difficulty.
The child was transported to an area hospital by Easton EMS. A report from the medical care facility late Thursday night indicated the child was awake and talking.
