WESTON, Conn. -- A Weston man who was formerly the pastor of a Catholic church in Seymour has been arrested in an embezzlement case, according to a report in the Connecticut Post.
The Rev. Honore Kombo, 50, was charged with first-degree larceny, accused of stealing $20,000 that had been willed to St. Augustine’s Church by a parishioner, the Post reported.
Kombo, who is free on bond, was placed on administrative leave by the Hartford Roman Catholic Archdiocese, the Post said.
