Driver Faces DUI Charges After Hitting Parked Car In Westport

WESTPORT, CONN. -- A Trumbull driver faces charges of driving while intoxicated after police said he struck a car at a Westport restaurant and fled the scene, according to a report on WestportNow.com.

Police told the media outlet that Shin Miyoshi, 58, hit the car which was parked at the Tarry Lodge on Charles Street on Tuesday, Dec. 22.

WestportNow also reported that Miyoshi is identified on the Westport-Weston Family YMCA’s website as its chief financial officer.

Police said they tracked Miyoshi to a railroad station parking lot where he failed a field sobriety test, was arrested, and is to appear in court in Norwalk in January, the media outlet said.
