Jeffrey Chirillo, 36, of Milford, who ran Chirillo Contracting, was arrested Sunday and charged with third-degree larceny and being an unregistered contractor.
He was held for arraignment in court on Monday.

In February, Chirillo confessed to stealing the items from the Woodway Lane home while he was held on charges in a separate case of contractor fraud, police said.
Police got a search warrant for his home after he made the admission, then sought an arrest warrant and executed the warrant Sunday.
His bond was set at $25,000, and his next appearance date is April 4.
In February, Chirillo was arrested after taking over $32,000 from a customer last fall and failing to even begin the promised home renovation project, Westport police said.
In that case he was charged with first-degree larceny and offering to make home improvement without registration.
