William Filonuk Jr., 58, Of Westport, Managing Director With BNY Mellon

WESTPORT, Conn. - William Filonuk Jr., of Westport, formerly of New Canaan, died Saturday, May 25. He was 58.

Filonuk completed both his BA in Mathematics and his MBA in Finance at Fordham University. He was managing director with BNY Mellon.

Filonuk is survived by his wife, Susan Elizabeth Filonuk; his son, David T. Filonuk of Pittsburgh, Pa.;father, William Filonuk, Sr.; brother, James Filonuk (Jo-Anne); and niece and nephews.

Calling hours are Monday, June 3 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St., New Canaan. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Greenwich Hospital or Fordham University GBA.
