Mary Geanuracos, 89, Of Easton

EASTON, Conn. – Mary Rose Geanuracos of Easton died Dec. 7. She was 89.

Geanuracos was born Oct. 12, 1923, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to Stanislao and Theresa Greco. She graduated from the Pittsburgh Business Academy and married James Geanuracos in 1947. They later moved to Connecticut. She enjoyed reading and taking care of her family.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James Louis Geanuracos; three children, Louis, Annie (John), Stanley (Mirella); a sister, Theresa Giaramita; a brother, Angelo Greco; and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, John Greco.

Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher and Son Funeral Home in Monroe handled the arrangements. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday at Notre Dame Church in Easton.
