WESTPORT, Conn. – Josephine Pellicano, a longtime resident of Westport, died on Thursday, Oct. 29 at her home. She was 87.
Pellicano was born in Montreal, to Pasquale and Irma Dardano.
She received her registered nursing degree from St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing in Montreal in 1956, moved to Westport in 1963 and later worked at Mediplex of Westport for nearly 15 years.
Pellicano was predeceased by her parents, husband Dominic and brother Nick Dardano.
She is survived by three children, son Thomas and his wife Anne of Southbury, son John and his wife Barbara of Bethany, and Lori; four grandchildren; three sisters, Dora Burdick, Rita Laliberte and Mary Loiacono, all of Laval, Quebec; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements were handled by Spear-Miller Funeral Home.
