EASTON, Conn. Hildegard Danner Briemann of Easton died May 29. She was 89.
Born in Munich, Germany, Briemann emigrated to the U.S. in 1951 and was an Easton resident for more than 30 years. Married to the late Dieter K. Briemann, she was a licensed practical nurse and expert seamstress. She enjoyed knitting and traveling.
She is survived by a daughter, Lori B. (Robert) Mezes, of Easton; two sisters, Hermine Gallas and Anneliese (Egon) Blaedel, both of Germany; two grandsons and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lesko and Polke Funeral Home in Fairfield Center. Burial will follow at Mount Grove Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
