WESTPORT, Conn. A woman was hospitalized Thursday morning after she was thrown from her Jeep Wrangler as it rolled over on I-95 northbound in Westport.
Westport EMS, firefighters and state police were called to the accident around 10:36 a.m. between exits 17 and 18. Upon arrival, EMS treated a head wound the woman received after she was thrown onto the roadway. She was transported to Norwalk Hospital, Assistant Fire Chief Robert Kepchar reported.
Firefighters cleaned up fluids spilled in the accident, and the roadway was cleared around 11:18 a.m. State police are investigating the accident.
