Friends of the Library Present: Family Fun Night with Tanglewood Marionettes - The Dragon King: 5:50-7 p.m. A special event for ages 5-12 at the Easton Public Library, 691 Morehouse Road, Easton.

Saturday, April 28

Hazardous Waste Day: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Disposed of your hazardous waste at the Public Works Facility, 78 Old Hyde Road, Weston.

Daffodil Dash 5K: 8:30 a.m. Run the third annual Daffodil Dash 5K that benefits the Town and Country Montessori School. There also will be a Kids Fun Run. 52 Lovers Lane, Wilton.

Animal Embassy: 4-5:15 p.m. Meet live animals, including a milk snake, chinchillas, green iguana and more at this live animal presentation. Weston Public Library, 56 Norfield Road, Weston.

Trail Games at Westport's Earthplace: 4-5 p.m. 10 Woodside Lane, Westport.

McKinley School Carnival: All day to 10 p.m. The McKinley School carnival offers traditional rides, food and other attractions. Jennings Beach, 880 Benson Road, Fairfield.

Hear Our Song: 7:30-9:30 p.m. Luci Arnaz and other performers star in "Hear Our Song," a benefit concert at the Norwalk Concert Hall, 125 East Ave., Norwalk.

McKinley School Carnival: All day to 10 p.m. The McKinley School carnival offers traditional rides, food and other attractions. Jennings Beach, 880 Benson Road, Fairfield.
